Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which future career pays the most?

AI Engineering and Semiconductor Engineering have the highest fresher packages. Cyber Security pays very well mid-career.

I don’t have PCM. Can I still do AI?

It’s possible but harder. PCM in Class 11–12 is the standard path and is highly recommended.

Is Data Science the same as AI?

Data Science is broader (statistics, business, insights); AI is a subset focused on automation. They overlap.

What if I’m not from IIT/IIM?

Many NITs, BITS and state colleges offer excellent programmes. In tech, skills matter more than brand.

How do I start preparing in Class 9–10?

Learn Python, take science olympiads, join STEM clubs and build small projects like apps and websites.

What if I don’t like coding?

Robotics, Green Energy and Biotech have non-coding paths, though basic coding helps everywhere.

What about AI taking away jobs?

Some jobs will be automated, but ~97 million new roles (per the WEF) will need humans. Future-proof skills are key.

Is it too late to start at age 25+?

No. Many professionals switch careers in their 20s–30s, and NEP’s Multiple Entry & Exit makes it easier.
